Please note that Nusa Link will not be responsible for any damages due to improper packaging.
It is also crucial for you to be aware of the list of prohibited items and not to include any of them in your consignment.
In order to achieve a smooth operation during the collection, please remember to have your shipping form ready. The form was provided to you during your box delivery.
Finally, it is your responsibility to accurately fill in the required details which includes information on sender details, recipient details and NL Consignment Number. Please note that a unique NL Consignment Number is only valid for one final destination delivery address only.

You can either use your own packing material or we can supply it to you. Here are some packaging tips that you may find useful:
(1) Choose the right material
Always use new corrugated boxes made of cupboard with excellent quality outer liner. If you are planning to reuse a box, please remember that the more times a box are used, the more chances of it losing its protective quality i.e. strength, cushioning and durability hence may not be adequate to protect your shipment.
The appropriate size of the box should always be slightly larger than the intended shipment content. This allows you to properly cushion your content further. Remember that under-filled boxes may collapse and overloaded boxes may burst.
Order your FREE packaging now.
(2) Constructing the material
Ensure that the bottom flap of the box is securely taped using the most suitable tape for cardboards – either brown or clear packaging tape. Don’t be afraid to be very generous in taping the bottom flap multiple times as this will help to strengthen the box structure further. Make sure that the tape are placed both horizontally and vertically while not neglecting all connecting corners from left to right.
Once the structure of the box has been reinforced, you may want to securely place bubble wraps at the bottom and the sides as well to act as a cushion to further alleviate from any shock absorption.
(3) Wrap & Pack
Now the fun begins!
Consider wrapping each item to serve as protective layer either using bubble wrap, tissue paper or newspaper. Put all fragile goods in the centre of a package; ensuring they don’t touch the sides. Your content should be very well cushioned on each side.
For any fragile items, it is always recommended to use the original manufacturer packaging as it was designed to sufficiently safeguard the item.
Repack any gifts appropriately as most gifts packaging although attractive, unfortunately, are not suitable for shipping.
Liquids should be stored in leak-free containers, packed with a lightweight, strong, internal material for example Styrofoam. On the other hand, semi-liquids, greasy or strong smelling substances must be sealed with adhesive tape and wrapped in grease resistant paper. Remember that any form of leakages will result in damages on all surrounding items.
Reminder: Please ensure that none of your items areincluded on theProhibited Item list.
(4) Do a test
Do not immediately seal your box after you have finished placing everything in it as there is one final crucial test that needs to be done.
Close the box and gently shake it. This is to determine whether any of the contents shift. If anything moves, this is an indication that there are hollow spaces which need to be filled with padded material to avoid items continuously moving during transit period.
(5) Seal the deal
Add a final layer of protective packaging materials on top of the box prior to closing it. Securely close the box and seal it with your packing tape. Remember to add additional layer of tapes as it would be in your best interest to ensure the chances of any damages to be kept to the very minimum.
(6) Enter your details
Using the permanent marker, your final step is to fill in all the details required on your shipping box as follows:
Please ensure that these details have been accurately filled in prior to collection.
Finally, here are some other important tips that you should consider:

(2) Packaging
Nusa Link Limited highly recommends to Customers to ensure goods are packaged to withstand the rigours of transit. Most carriers use automated sorting systems incorporating conveyor belts and gravity chutes. Packages should be able to withstand a drop from waist height onto a solid floor. This is especially relevant to heavier items which are inherently more difficult to protect due to their weight in case of a drop. Claims will be rejected if the damage is deemed to have been caused by normal wear and tear.
